Integrated Farming

We utilize cow dung and cow urine to produce organic manure such as Panchagavya and Jeevamrutham, naturally enriching the soil.

Organic Formulations

To enhance plant growth, we use organic formulations like Arappu Mor Karaisal, Pazhakaadi Karaisal, Panchagavya, and Jeevamrutham.

Soil Fertility

We use cow dung manure and earthworm manure (vermicompost) to nourish the soil and maintain its fertility.

Crop Rotation

We practice crop rotation, which naturally enriches the soil and helps maintain its health.

Weed Management

We control the weeds by using Crop rotation and natural mulching to control the weeds. Also, our dedicated lady staff members, pluck the weeds in very early stage. Plucking the weeds and early stages and mulching is the most effective way of controlling weeds. By these collective efforts we control the weeds effectively and efficiently.

Minimal Tillage

We till the soil minimally to preserve beneficial organisms like earthworms, which play a crucial role in maintaining soil health.

Traditional Tilling

Wherever possible, we use bulls instead of tractors for tilling. Bulls are lighter compared to tractors, preventing soil compaction and stress. We also use low weight tractors for ploughing which is inevitable nowadays.

Natural Pest Management

To manage insects, we first divert harmful insects by planting flowers around the field. Secondly, we use organic pest repellents such as Neem Astra, Agni Astra, and a ginger-garlic-green chili mixture.

Soil Rejuvenation

After every two harvests, we leave the land fallow without cultivation, allowing the soil to rejuvenate naturally. After that, we plant Pala daniya seeds and later plow the soil along with the Pala Daniya plants, providing enormous nourishment to the soil.

Through these practices, Annam Farms delivers pure, high-quality products while fostering environmental sustainability and animal welfare.
